Meet glass
artist Sue Smith. Sue travels extensively and has lived in the Middle East
and Europe. Originally from Devon and now working from her home studio
there, Sue has been working with glass and various mediums
for over 20 years and has a keen interest in the world about her, in nature
and the environment and has been both influenced and inspired by different
cultures and architecture from around the world..... more
Sue's glass mosaics can be
used as wall panels, which look great in the garden as a feature among
climbing plants or can be placed in a gloomy corner, not only adding light
and interest but because of the reflection, giving the impression of more
space and creating a hint of "The Secret Garden" behind. The "Gaudi" style
mosaics are all created using recycled glass, mirrors and bottles......more
Sue is happy to undertake
mosaic commissions. If you have an idea or design of your own, Sue would be happy
to discuss this, then provide sketches and glass samples.
